Rushton turbine
Features
The Rushton turbine is a impeller that stands out for having a compact and highly functional design; it is composed of a disc, to which four to six flat blades are attached, depending on the needs of the process.
Such discs are able to generate a more stable radial flow than other mobiles to perform their tasks properly. In addition, the disc can function as a deflector, i.e. preventing an upward or downward flow in the center of the tank.
The Rushton turbine is an ideal choice for dispersion and fermentation processes.
